Bodapati Sam Sachin is pursuing MTech at Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems, IISc working under the guidance of Professor Bharadwaj Amrutur (RBCCPS), IISc. He graduated BTech in Mechanical Engineering from GITAM University, Vishakhapatnam in the year 2020. Presently he is working on the development of an Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) which can be used for defence surveillance purposes withstanding a payload capacity of 5Kgs. ROV has been selected for the 2nd round in the Defence Innovation Challenge of Defence Design and Technology Incubator of India (DDTI) in association with DRDO. This ROV is also being developed to semi-autonomously stage for the filtration purpose of sewage treatment plants to reduce human efforts. Before joining IISc, he worked as a Quality Specialist in Geocoding Dept. at Amazon Hyderabad.
