Varkey M. John

Varkey is currently an M.Tech. (Research) student under Dr. Vaibhav Katewa in the department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. His broad research interest is in the field of security and privacy for cyber-physical systems. Currently he is working on finding trade-offs between these two notions in different settings. Prior to joining IISc, he worked as a cyber-security consultant at Ernst and Young, Bangalore. He did his undergraduate degree at BITS Pilani – Goa Campus where he obtained a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an M.Sc. in Economics (Dual Degree) in 2017.
