Vishal is a Ph.D. student at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He works with Prof. Rajesh Sundaresan (Department of Electrical Communication Engineering) and Prof. Abdul R. Pinjari (Department of Civil Engineering). He completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Uttarakhand in 2015 and his M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat in 2018. His broad research interests are the applications of game theory, discrete travel mode choice theory, and traffic network equilibrium algorithms. He is currently working in the area of optimal pricing for first- and last-mile services to facilitate the collaboration between public and private transport operators.
