Moonmoon Mohanty is a second year PhD student at Distributed Systems Lab, in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She completed her B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from C.V.Raman College of Engineering, Odisha in 2009 and her M. Tech in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ajou University, South Korea in 2017. She was working as a Transmission optimisation engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks from 2010 - 2012 and then switched to network management as L1 engineer, Network operations center at CompuCom. Her areas of interest are stochastic modelling and network management. She is currently working on data driven load balancing in data center networks. Her research focuses on finding optimal scheduling policies, studying network telemetry used in data center networks and using the data to perform load balancing in data center networks.
